Barcelona 1917), que curs\u00e0 estudis d\u2019enginyer de monts i que l\u2019any 1901 elabor\u00e0 un informe on es prioritzaven les actuacions urgents a realitzar pel recent creat Servei Hidrol\u00f2gic \u2013 Forestal. Una de les prioritats era la reforestaci\u00f3 de la cap\u00e7alera del riu Francol\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>En l\u2019esmenta\u2019t informe, en Reig deixava clara la seva idea visionaria de la funci\u00f3 educativa que reportarien els resultats positius de la reforestaci\u00f3 del bosc i que podien donar a con\u00e8ixer el valors naturals i les millores socials i econ\u00f2miques dels treballs forestals.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0L\u2019enginyer Josep Reig, fou doncs, precursor dels treballs de reforestaci\u00f3 del bosc de Poblet a principis del s.XX i alhora un ferm activista del que aleshores s\u2019anomenava propaganda forestal i que avui en dir\u00edem educaci\u00f3 ambiental.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Biografia de Josep Reig i Palau\" href=\"http:\/\/webfacil.tinet.org\/usuaris\/manelmar\/Homenatge_JReig__1__20100816085307.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Per m\u00e9s informaci\u00f3 sobre Josep Reig podeu consultar un llibre amb la seva biografia en PDF.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aquest 14 de novembre ha fet 150 anys del naixement de Josep Reig i Palau (Vilabertran 1863.
