Hollywood ha perdut una estrella... i el cel n'ha guanyat una altra...

Avui a última hora de la nit s'ha donat a conèixer la mort de Paul Newman... Per l'edat que tinc jo, em queda una mica lluny aquest actor, però sempre, no sé per què, li he tingut una estima especial. Potser perquè a casa, mon pare, ha mirat des de sempre amb avidesa les seves pel·lícules... Potser també per aquells impressionants ulls, que aclaparaven el públic en les seves pel·lícules... Però vull creure que els seus ulls blaus no eren només el seu talent: darrere aquella mirada, hi havia un gran actor. És per això que, des d'aquest humil bloc, li vull retre un petit homenatge... Què és el que més recordo de veure pel·lícules amb el meu pare? Doncs, sens dubte, les nits de dissabte mirant westerns, on sempre intentava imitar la veu profunda dels actors. Em feia molta il·lusió. No em puc creure que ja hagin passat 30 anys de pacman 30th anniversary !

M’ha emocionat molt llegir aquesta entrada, perquè jo també recordo les tardes que passava mirant les pel·lícules de Paul Newman amb la meva família.
